Spiritual Disciplines: Simplicity

The discipline of simplicity is an interesting one! It is so easy to want to add more and more things to our lives — more activities in our schedules, more material items for our homes — bigger and better can sometimes become our unspoken motto. Yet, are all these things really needed? What does it mean to live in simplicity — to slow down and truly seek first the Kingdom of God?
